He is the worst GM of all time.

If you were the GM and your team hasn't even reached the NFCCG in the last quarter-century that you have been the GM, you suck.

Oh, but he won his personal dick-measuring contest with Jimmy Johnson, so there's that.

The area on Harry Hines where it happened is right up the hill from American Airlines Center surrounded by high end condos & restaurants. He was probably leaving Ocean Prime & I doubt he was actually driving. This is not the Harry Hines area of street walkers & drug deals. That’s on up a few exits off 35.

I think it depends on how you qualify 'great owner'. If great owner is the continued promotion of the club, building of value and maximizing revenue in every conceivable way, yes, he is unmatched. But if a great owner is someone whos main priority is to win championships, I dare say he is one of the worst. I truly don't think there is a logical argument that supports the idea that the Jones family cares about winning a superbowl. I would argue they dont at all. I think their only goal is to build the brand and thus pad their pockets. Winning football games is secondary. They would hire a real GM if they really cared.

But he wants it both ways. The media really promoted his "Jerry Jones drafted the greatest offensive line ever" campaign. 3 years later, how's that looking for you?
