All of what you said is great. But I don’t know if he’s ready for this.

Bobby has shown he can run a program. Up and comer, led a team. He would have my support from day one. Nothing against many.

Have a couple of guys in my office that are part of the Rebel Club or whatever their booster club is called and they’ve been wanting him to step down for a while.

?

Big fan of Bobby. Just asking what you’re talking about here exactly. He’s the OC at Sterlington. Did I miss him as HC somewhere?

Based upon the comments in this thread, I don't know that he will get a fair shake, but one of the top HS coaches in Mississippi may be throwing his hat in the ring

Do you think Many would bring Chris Vallery and those guys with him? I think they have a good group of coaches over there. Especially for a middle school

I don’t think so. We have a pretty good thing going on there. We’ve lost 1 game in 3 years in 8th grade, 6-2 with 5 fumbles

I doubt Louisiana will ever see another run in football like West Monroe had.

Yeah, they have been dominant. Doesnt hurt to have the Pearson boys and a couple of kids at 6'2" that are running the ball. They look like grown men compared to most teams. With that said, they are coached up very well.

Actually didn’t have any of them in those 3 years. John’s a junior. You think we’re big, you should see Ruston. They dwarf us and are faster.

Thank you. I’ll pass it along to my compadres. We try.

Still not over the 2021 West Monroe-Zachary playoff game. That was Ponchatoula's year.

I’m confused…. Why would the outcome of the WM/Zachary game have any affect on Ponchatoula’s season?

My son played there for two years. He's a sophmore at WMHS now. He didnt love football the way that I did. I was an OPHS guy back in the WM heyday. Played against CV since YMCA

Because we would've beaten both West Monroe and Destrehan. Zachary was the only team that would've beaten us, and they did.

key injury and some of the misses in dome game happen against WM or Desty and both could have beaten P.... Injury was huge so were turn overs and other misses.

Are you referring to Scrappy's injury, or Braydon Johnson's mysterious shoulder injury, or both? I feel like Johnson would've gotten shut down regardless of his health; Zachary's D-line was just too good. Injuries always seem to get us at the worst time, like Christian Campbell's in 2014.

Tribble did seem a bit uncharacteristically off and our All-State WR corps dropped some key passes. Maybe the pressure got to us after a great first half.

That’s an absolutely retarded thing to assume, but ok??

The new principle is supposed to be announced April 24,Monday.

Whoever the new principle is will have a lot of bearing on other applicants for the head coach at West Monroe.

I have heard a few names of the applicants and there are some good coaches that have applied so far.
Some other good names are going to apply depending on who the new principle will be.

I have NO IDEA who the new coach will be.

We should find out in about 2-3 weeks.

Oh nooz, I used the wrong homonym.

Anywho, still no word who will be the new 'principal'

I am hearing its between two assistant principals at West Monroe:

Mandy Green and Dan Lane.

Also heard that a former principle who was at WM has thrown their name in the hat.

A few names in the hat for HC is the current coach at Oak Grove, former West Monroe player Jeremy Manning, the head coach at Philadelphia, MS.

The two presumed front runners are Tony Osborne and Todd Garvin.

If WM can get a hire like Kim Mulkey, look for West Monroe to get back to the top again.

I always remember this from Mr. Belding saying he’s a pal.

True story.
