Luck will never be a fraction of the quarterback Brett Favre was, and you don't want to know Favre's Wonderlic Score.

Has he played against a defense ranked in the top 50 yet?
Yes. He played against the number 3 defense in the country and scores 37. Next question

Difficult to say.

Jameis has had a much better RS FR year than Luck.

WIth that said....If You put a young Andrew Luck on FSU..
I'm pretty sure he puts up big numbers as well throwing to Shaw, Greene, Benjamin and O'Leary.

There are two things that Luck has the edge on. He's smarter (not being stereotypical here. But Luck is smarter than a lot of QBs to ever come out of college. He's been taught football concepts since a young age)

And...he's more athletic imo...

Say what you will. But Luck is much quicker and probably faster than Jameis. At least he is right now. Maybe as Jameis gets older he'll become a better athlete. But I've seen Jameis chased down when Luck wouldnt have been.

Luck ran a 40 similar to Cam at the combine.

Don't forget luck is much better at breathing out of his mouth. Very important

IMO, Luck is the best prospect since Peyton. Jameis is a better-throwing/worse-running version of Cam.

Jameis hasn't played a single college game against a decent defense, so there's really not a large enough sample size to accurately judge him.

I think if he proves himself next year vs. better competition he could end up being in Luck's category.

No way dude. Jameis is not quite on the same level as Luck. And there is no guarentee he would be the #1 pick. Keep in mind that Jameis has yet to play a shutdown defense in his career, let alone a good defense. Florida St Schedule is weak.

give me a break. that florida team was decimated by the time FSU came to town. Plus, they had absolutely no offense to keep FSU off the field.

Congrats. They are also a top ten defense. Fact.

ETA: For the record, i think Luck overall is a better prospect. But to use the argument Jameis hasn't faced real defenses is ludicrous. Luck played in the Pac 12

saying Jameis is a worse running version of Cam is like saying Connor Neighbors is a worse running version of Kevin Faulk. why even make the comparison?

Him and Cam are nothing alike as players...

It will be tough for Jameis to become a more heralded prospect than Luck simply because of the offense FSU runs.

Luck came from a pro-style offense so there were very few doubts about how he would play in the NFL. I'm not saying FSU runs the air raid, but they definitely spread it out more than an NFL offense.

I refuse to compare Jameis and Cam just because they are black.

They are nothing alike.

Florida has a really good defense for the first couple games of the year but once Easley went down they were just average. Their stats got inflated because our offense was so bad we basically played keep away when we had the ball and crushed TOP thus our opponents accrued less yardage/points.

Exactly. I mean, you HAVE to play in the SEC to be a great NFL QB. He is DEFINITELY no Greg McElroy or John Parker Wilson.
