Cares too much about stats. Needs to get Wins. Much like Trout doesn’t care to get RBIs and would rather get walks.

So giving up 4 runs on the season is him not caring about winning?

What else can he do to help them win? Become a 2 way player? You must have some dynamite suggestions.

Hockey players are the toughest athletes on the planet. You damn near literally have to chop off a limb to make one of those guys miss a playoff game.

He's a statistical darling, with impressive numbers, but he doesn't help his team win

I’ll ask again. What better way is there for a pitcher to help win other than keep the other team from scoring runs?

You're obviously trolling but go ahead and explain why his teams wins 67% of the time when he pitches and 54% of the time when he doesn't pitch...

I’ll give - it’s somebody else’s stupid take. My other post is a throw back to when some posters argued Pujos was more valuable to the Angels the year he drove in 100+ RBIs to Trout’s 90 something because he was moving base runners or some shite. Nvm the fact Pujos was hitting behind Trout

These aren't the Wilpons Mets. They would be running away with the division if it wasn't for injuries.

They’re starting to now...Pillar back, Villar back, Alonso back, DeGrom has a .56 ERA and McKinney is hitting .302 with 10 of 13 hits being extra bases.

Strohmam and Walker have been excellent. Syndergaard, McNeil and Davis will be back before too long.

Mets look to be in pretty good shape.

Pillar back, Villar back,

Both of whom are backups to other injured players lol.. when/if we get everyone back healthy we will have a load of high quality depth.

McNeil should be back next week. Conforto the following week. Not sure when Nimmo and Davis will be back, though I think Villar should stay the starter even when Davis comes back.

Mets have the third highest payroll in baseball. First place in the league. Surprisingly a good bullpen. Cohen Mets are much different than the Coupon Mets
