Barely over 1 million.

The Jacksonville metro area is around 1.8 million. The land area of the city limits is over 30 miles east to west. It is huge, takes me 30+ minutes to get out of the city limits.

Thanks for new yorksplaining somewhere I've lived for ~2.5 decades (minimum) longer than you, given your 03 join date and name

It's laughable to say the jax metro area is kingsland to palatka, but that's how they get that number.

Thats how every tv market is analyzed genius. I love that you living in Jacksonville for 2 decades makes you some sort of exclusive expert. Ive only been there 13 years, but I think I have a good handle on the town. Relax doofus.

close your eyes and tell me what comes to mind about jacksonville other than the jags.

utterly boring and unremarkable place that makes the league more generic for their existence. even their mascot is yawn.

Coach Payton, it's okay. It's just one game. You've got another in 3 days. Better worry about that one instead of your losing to a small market doormat.

Yeah, I didn’t even mention Hanna Park which might be the best water I’ve seen and then you have little Talbot island and then all the fish camps northeast of the city. Always love going out there

And a little further north is Amelia Island. Love it up there. We spend a lot of time there throughout the year, mainly in the spring and summer. Fernandina Beach is great, as is the more upscale part of the island.

That ship has sailed. Sorry dude.

Note the new stadium on the way that I referenced on page 2 with renderings. Project is well underway.
