Jesus Christ, was this really worthy of a "The Decision" type show?

Is this the first time you have watched a HS commitment?

Good for him. Why deal with that hobbit Izzo screaming at you every time you miss a defensive assignment?

Spartantailgate/Red Cedar Message Board should be epic today.

24/7 is the worst service of all for basketball. They hired the Rivals guy, Jerry Meyer, who missed on a lot of prospects. Ranked Selby number 1 in the 2010 class and gave no real reason, etc.

Note that I am not saying 24/7 is bad because they rank Parker lower than the other sites. I am not particularly impressed with what I have seen of Parker (compared to most top 5 recruits), but I think he will certainly be a good player and future NBA starter.

And I am very glad to see him at Duke. But if i am to be 100% honest, it's more because he won't be playing for MSU or Florida than because he will be playing for Duke.

ESPN does this 5-10 times a year for basketball. If you add in football players, they do this 25+ times a year. Not that unusual at all, and often times, they do it for far lower rated guys.

Jelan Kendrick was the worst highly touted player I have ever seen play. I've posted that before on here and he was just bad. Saw him in person twice and he was so overrated.

He may be over-hyped but his skill set is perfect for next year's Duke team. Good for Duke's future recruiting as well, might help with Okafor.

Just to pile on how Meyer is largely useless, people paid money to his service so he could tell them Parker was going to Michigan State

I dont see anything about him getting kicked off of UNLV but he's not on the roster. Did he ever play for them? Whats the deal?
