When will this end? FFS healthy young athletes have the least risk next to children

There's a direct correlation between the political leanings of the Ivy League decision makers and TRUST SCIENCE®!

The NCAA claims they have almost half a million athletes. My guess is that more have died from being sent back to a dangerous situation/away from their regimented life than have died from covid.

But spring sports were never a revenue driver anyway, so this just saves a few extra dollars for schools with the richest alums on the planet

I think the NCAA has more deaths from an accidental discharge of a firearm than COVID.

The Biden administration was asked about this chart yesterday on MSNBC of all places.

Of course the Biden administration did what they do best, bumble around and not answer the question directly.

Looks like the Ivy League knows THE SCIENCE, they are Ivy Leaguers after all and are our betters in every way. We must always yield to their wisdom.

They are making sure NO league/schools are going to out virtue signal them...even if it is to the detriment of their own students.

How DARE you plebeians worry about such silly things as sports when we are in the midst of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who cares if the risk of death to these kids is minuscule? We have an AGENDA to keep pushing!!!

FULL.....RETARD!!

There have been just as many student athletes roasted to death on the planet Venus as there have been deaths by Covid. They are mostly unphased by the virus. What in the name of all that is holy are these libtards doing?

So after watching most leagues complete a full season in the fall when we didn’t have a vaccine and all they have to do is copy what the bigger leagues did and be fine they decide to cancel instead?

Isn’t the Ivy League supposed to be smart?

Pathetic. Cases, hospitalizations, deaths, etc are plummeting. What an idiotic, premature move to cancel spring sports.

frick the sorry mother frickers in those administrations. Those are supposed to be the most “elite” schools in the country where the best students strive to go.

The athletes on campus (at least some) are the few who probably aren’t rich kids. Busting their arse to get an Ivy League degree and compete in their sport. But frick them cause we gotta virtue signal right?!!

Back in the summer when baseball started back up in this area, one of the college kids that went through the program my kid is at came back and volunteered as an assistant to work with the outfielders. He is a senior this season at Penn. I feel for this kid, he worked his arse off to earn a baseball scholarship at an ivy league school. He loves the game and just wants to play.

Does he expect to be a professional ball player, No. But did he want to be able to extend his playing career as long as possible? Absolutely. Now his Jr and Sr years have been taken away. Yeah, he'll have his ivy league diploma... but this really sucks for a lot of kids that truly love and devoted themselves to sports that they love.

For such a prestigious learning institution, the Ivy league administration isn't very smart.
