Attrition on defense really starting to add for us. Not sure we have the depth to go 4 games against top tier teams now.
Two best edge rushers are out. 1st round All-American caliber CB is out. Best OLB is 50 / 50 to play. Both starting DT’s are banged up and one might not play.

This is why for all intents and purposes, I'm ok with the 12-team playoff. There are 6 teams this year that I think could potentially win it all this year. All 6 of those teams are in the playoffs with a chance to prove it.

That scheme scored 0 TDs at home against Ohio State. I’d be jumping for joy if we got Penn State in the playoffs.

That was the middle of the season and they implemented a vastly new scheme. They’re executing the blocking scheme at a much better rate than the first half of the season.
They took a quarter to get going against SMU. By that time the score was getting out of hand.

They played in early November. There’s zero chance they completely overhauled an offensive scheme since then.
