He can technically return until May 29 under the new rules. But he won’t.

This line of thinking is nothing more than the media keeping Knicks and Lakers fans still engaged. They have to appeal to the masses which is why this topic has been suggested. In no way will he ever return to Duke.

The best part of this is many of the people throwing it out there as a possibility are the same ones saying he shouldn’t come back after he got hurt

Doesn't work that way anymore.

No its not its people not wanting to see what they think is a generational talent waste away on a putrid franchise during his peak years ala Luck with the colts

Wouldve been the exact same sentiments had he gone to Memphis

1. Well thank god he's not going to the Knicks.

2. When did the Colts turn into a putrid franchise?

Bottom line is if the final four had been PHX, CLE, NOP, MEM, this wouldn’t be a discussion in the media.

But it doesn’t matter, all signs now point to this being a non story.

The Knicks aren’t putrid?

Lol no. The Knicks are a putrid franchise. Since 2000 the Pels have won like 25 more games than them and NOLA’s team history only goes back to 2002.

The Lakers are shaping up to be a putrid franchise with who they have calling the shots

T-Wolves and Hornets are putrid franchises

The most you can say about NOLA is Dell Demos was an awful GM.

This is stupid on both levels

The Knicks have one of if not the worst owner in the sports. New Orleans have won 21 more games since 2002 than the NYK have since 2000

Also may want to check into the Colts record the decade and a half before drafting Luck and who was the most marketed star during that era

Same talking heads where calling for him to shut down his season before the tourney when his shoe blew out and he hurt his knee.

Not a chance he returns to Duke.
