What a life. Get paid millions to NOT play, then add a few hundred thousand more to keep playing.

Stud.

Peja wasn't bought out in Toronto? Or wherever he went?

Dunno, info is from rotoworld. Maybe its out of date?

Also Stephenson is a FA according to that site. Bringing us up to 45mm of cap (if the Peja info is accurate)

Chandler, Butler, Barea, and Stevenson are all free.

Dirk and Marion are long-term.

Kidd and Terry are under contract through next year.

Basically, they'll try to re-sign as many of those guys as they can (Tyson and Barea are musts) and try to win it again next year.

After that, Kidd will probably retire and their championship "window" with this group of players will probably be closed.

so you guys think the Mavs, with two impact players back into the rotation, won't get back next year?Too tough out West?

IF Butler and Beaubois return to form, this team on paper should be better right?giving them as good a chance as the Lakers to reach the Finals?

Now that the "title fights" are even, who wants to see the trilogy of Wade's Heat vs. Dirk's Mavs? I think it would be great for the NBA.

I feel pretty confident in the fact that the Mavs won't make the Finals again next year. But who knows.

I'd like to see Heat/Mavs again. That's for sure.

The West looks like it is reloading

Mavs
OKC
Lakers
Memphis
Portland
Clippers

Should be exciting.

The powers may be shifting back west.

Great TEAM ball outwest.

Tyson should look to cash in.

How are they going to justify Haywood and Tyson making a combined ~$20M next year (assuming Tyson wants to be in the ~$10M range as well)?

Haywoods production doesnt match his salary, and NO ONE will take the reminder of his 4yrs/$48M that is left on it so... who are they trading him to?

im not sure Dallas has was it takes to get there again. They are aging pretty rapidly. Going to have to take a nice signing or 2 to stay at this level, imo
