Is there a more overused and “cringe” phrase by athletes/fans than “LETS GO!!”

It fires me up when fans of my team and players do it, but I’d never really thought of why.

The owner of my work says that dumb phrase all the time

That shyt’s cringy! I more of a “let’s go, let’s go, let’s go” in a low tone before the play(s). We’re damn near robots now.

Cringe is putting it mildly

This wasn’t a thing for anything I played through high school.

I still dabble in some rec stuff now and I tell my teammates to find something more original.

What would you prefer, list some examples and we’ll vote on if they’re worthy of replacing Let’s Go

Kids are the worst. They do anything mildly positive in a sport and freak out like they just won the Super Bowl.

Just a sign of the times. Participation trophy syndrome.

"Good Job! Good Effort!"

Let’s go Mets is different than some noob athlete or fan hollering LETS GOOO!!!! over every little positive thing that happens in a game.
