Is the 2019 ECF the most underrated sports moment in recent memory?

A future Hall of Famer hits a Game 7 buzzer-beater over another future Hall of Famer in the most dramatic way possible to send his team to their first NBA finals in franchise history, which they would go on to win.

I think this is probably the greatest NBA moment since Ray Allen in 2013 Finals.

Yet it seems it doesn’t get nearly as much hype from sports media as the 2015-17 Finals or even some of the shots Damian Lillard has hit in the first round. Maybe it’s just me.

No phones to seen anywhere. What a difference 4 years makes.

eta: I actually do see one phone.

That was in the conference semifinals. They beat Milwaukee to get to the Finals.

Yeah it was the semis.

And it was the type of real-time experience you could never recreate watching a replay. When it happened it felt like the ball was bouncing around the rim for minutes.

Well yeah they weren’t in L.A.

You’re right.

See, if this moment received as much attention as other moments I would’ve remembered that

It was a great series too.

Neither team won 2 games in a row all series.

Giannis leading the bucks to a title and dropping 50 to close it out is the most underrated moment in recent basketball history. he still doesn't get enough credit for that feat.

That’s the closest he’ll ever get to a title

Damn. That's a great picture.

The Kawhi pose is iconic. The excitement buzzing on the Raptors bench. Joel looks like he's about to cry. Ben has the "ahh frick it" face.

Considering this was a game 7 buzzer beater, made by Kawhi, who would go on win FMVP that same year. This should probably be remembered as one of the most iconic shots in NBA history.

I think the Raptors title sometimes gets diminished, because they did technically only win it because KD got injured. But still, they had to beat the Bucks during Giannis MVP season. A 76ers team with 3 all-stars. Then beating the Warriors, even without KD, is no easy task.

What's underrated is he walked with the ball on the inbounds pass to get around his defender.

Klay also tore his ACL 3rd quarter G6 and the W’s only lost by 4. Diminished is an understatement, it’s a sham

No sham, sports. Are injuries not a part of sports? KD was soft as usual, Thompson hurt as usual. Not like either were out of the norm events. Just bad timing for the Warriors. What ifs are what those that lose use for justification.

It was just crazy how that ball hit every single part of the rim before going in

I'd go with the 2001 AFCCG. You know, the Tuck Rule Game. I don't recall there being another game between that one and the Super Bowl.
