I feel like we are discussing PP the football player, so we should use everything's he does on the football field

The Broncos, for instance, will end up regretting paying Chris Harris the money he just got.
quote:

Denver cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is doing all he can to earn All-Pro honors as part of a much-improved Broncos defense. As the league’s highest-graded CB (+22.8), he leads the league with 0.59 Yards Per Cover Snap for corners with at least 300 snaps.

He’s been very effective sliding over to the slot as well, yielding another league-best mark of 0.66 Yards Per Cover Snap for corners with at least 200 slot snaps.

Adding to his Pro-Bowl resume, Harris Jr. is no slouch getting after the quarterback. He has the second-highest Pass Rushing Productivity (26.7) for corners with at least 15 rushes. He’s Denver’s best corner blitz option, as the rest of the Broncos CBs have combined for no sacks, hits or hurries on 13 designed rushes.

With Denver’s passing offense slowing down, Harris Jr. is doing his best to keep opposing teams’ passing games in check.

He does things like that ON THE FIELD, often.

Then add the fact that he treats the media like shite, and the "ongoing investigation"...I could go on and on.

I did keep reading. He then uses stats from him playing cornerback. I never saw the op say, "is peterson the most overrated player using only his play at cornerback"

Is Patrick Peterson one of the more overrated players in the NFL?

As an LSU fan and someone who watches a lot of NFL games the answer is yes. He has never been an shutdown cover guy when going up against top receivers.

lol ok dude. You know he was being specific as to his CB abilities. Not going to waste any more time arguing that point.

I viewed both Mo Clairbore and Patrick Peterson as lock-down cornerbacks in college, but neither are anything close in the NFL.

But like I said, my answer is yes he is overrated on tiger rant, but underrated on this board. In real life discussion, I feel like he is adequately rated

Different Scheme, different responsibility.

You can't take PP7 out of the game simply by putting your #1 on the other side of the field.

You can do that to Sherman, and teams do.

Sherman is elite at what he does, but it doesn't mean he could do what Peterson does or vice versa.
Even if PP7 guarded WR1 on every play, his stats see surprisingly subpar. While the difference may be skewed by the scheme (although that can be easily accounted for in an analysis), the disparity is too large for that to be the overwhelming contributor to the difference. In other words, PP7 is a good CB, but the stats haven't supported the elite CB talk.

And none of that makes him a prick except in your own biased mind. Unless you know him IRL or have even met him then you don't really know. By all accounts from people that have actually met him he's a good dude who's well rounded and down to earth

I'm biased? you're a damn auburn fan who obviously developed some kind of deep connection from the 1 year he played for you.

He shows his arse and immaturity in public a lot, so you think this is all for show and he's really a nice guy?

Let's talk about his countless efforts to connect with and help out tons of underprivileged kids in the community.

Yeah you're biased just like every LSU fan who got butt hurt and never got over it when he ran PP7 the frick over

Yeah I'm an Auburn fan, and I was in college in 2010. Don't you think I'd have more personal insight into the actual human instead of just Cam's on field persona?

You don't like Cam because he beat LSU's arse and owns the division that the Saints play in. Simple as that
