I’m very interested and glad I have the time today to watch this Ohio St vs Penn State game and how for real they are. We know LSU has the best offense in the P5 and that may be enough but it may not. A lot of the talkin heads including Herbstreit who spend much more time than most analyzing teams say they are the most complete well I wanna see it. They have some tough games ahead. Should be a fun day.

LSU’s played three teams better than anyone Ohio State’s played.

OSU offense is really good too though. I'd love to see an OSU LSU title game.

The only thing is as much as OSU runs their QB and invites hits, they're going to eventually get one killed.

We got crushed but got some serious hits on fields.

I think (to this point) they're the most complete team. Hard to judge how good they really are since starters have been pulled from the 2nd half in nearly every game this year. They need to get in a tight contest to show their mettle.

I don’t think Ohio State rolls into Tuscaloosa and beats a Tua lead Alabama.

Guess it's a good thing they don't have to

They'd probably struggle with the Browns too since we're at it.

That remains to be seen Austin. I’m thinking it’s Clemson as of now but Ohio St does seem to be the most complete team in all three fazes of the game. I’m going to dick ride Clemson to beat LSU to get dick riding revenge on y’all for 44-16.

I wonder if we have a 2006-type effect happening. Ohio State looks like a juggernaut beating up the Big 10, then gets boatraced by a Florida team that looked very beatable during the regular season.

LSU is battle tested against good offensive teams (Texas, Alabama) and good defensive teams (Florida, Auburn). Ohio State is not. I'm not convinced beating up on Penn State (lost to Minnesota) and Wisconsin (lost to Illinois) proves anything, either.

Ahh that's right.. those don't fit your narrative.

Nobody is really convinced by the Wisconsin win. They are a one-dimensional team propped up by an easy schedule. Stop Taylor, stop Wisconsin. Not complicated, even as good as he is.

If you're being honest with yourself, you could probably admit that even you agree with that statement. I agree with it, and I went there.

I think about this all the time. It feels different this year. I think there was a lot of arrogance in 2006 that isn't there this year. The conference dynamics are so different now, the game is too. OSU's defense was built around linebackers and I think the SEC defensive lines just took the game by storm. I feel like OSU is good where it matters most this year.

They might very well be but they’re going to have to beat some teams from outside of the rust belt before I crown them.

Fair enough. Ohio State does look pretty good. Very interested to see how they look against the back end of the schedule.

I surely won’t count out Clemson giving Dabo that much time to scheme with Venables

Right now I say yes. They beat PSU by at least 20 today.
