After the LHSAA state championships it would seem so.

Lol this is so bad, South Louisiana is miles ahead in terms of resources, talent, depth, and even coaching.
The very elite teams in North LA are no doubt very good but a rusty hook and not even a good troll.

The champions in each division say differently. There are more southern champs vs northern

2 SE LA districts nearly swept 4A, 5A, DI and DII.
So I'll say no.
So I'll say no.

While I cannot even get close to your baseball knowledge, I really do not think it will even be as cyclical as it once was. Given state population trends, where high school resources are being increased, and lastly where the top coaches are all pretty much at right now. Maybe once every 6-7 years will "North LA" be the best in Divisions 1-2 and Classes 3-5A I just cannot see it happening much more than that.

Does any school have more major leaguers than Barbe?

At the highest level, 8 of the top 11 5A teams play at or south of I-10/I-12, as well as all of the semifinalists in DI.

So North LA won like one or two classes…

How many 1A/2A/B/C districts are in South LA east of Morgan City and south of 10/12?
At least ones that aren't like 90 percent Christian schools?

We don’t have a single class B or C baseball district by New Orleans, and it skews our power rankings… other parts of the state have their 2A and 3A teams beat class 1A, B, and C, and in turn their class 5A beat those 2A and 3A, but New Orleans area has no class B and C to beat.
In the last week of the season, 5A Haughton defeated 2A Red River 29-0 to pick up 40 power points, and class C Harrisonburg twice, 21-1 and 14-0, for 37 power points each time. They probably think otherwise but this seems like manipulating the system. Other teams did this too late in the season

West Monroe won fair and square, mind you. But I didn't understand how they got ahead of Dutchtown in the power rankings. Somebody told me Dutchtown and St. Amant have to have a brutal non-district schedule because their district games against Woodlawn and McKinley were destroying their numbers.

So I can name 3 off the top of my head. West Monroe, Oak Grove, and Claiborne Christian,

They won 4. And to answer the OP question it’s not close. It’s South LA

Hence why 3-5A is at the top of 5A districts… they make sure most of their teams play 34 games each…
And why mine is at the bottom… Chalmette played 28 and the teams at the bottom of our district played between 15-20

WM about to win 4 straight baseball championships. They just won with a bunch of freshman and sophomores.
Posted on 5/16/22 at 4:40 pm to Dale Murphy
Not happening. Too many good teams in 5A.

WM will be better next year. Adding an 8th grader that throws 88 from the left side and return 7 of the 9 in the lineup most games.
Doesn’t mean anything as baseball is 1 game and anyone can win 1 game.
As far as baseball being better in North LA, no it’s not. 90% of Louisiana lives on I-10. There’s 2 North LA districts and what 9-10 South LA districts? Of course they’re going to win more.
