Yeah, 38% is well under 50%.

He must not know who MCW is if he doesn't think a triple double on terrible shooting is MCWish

Probably wasn't impressed with Draymond having a triple-double without 10 points either.

I'm pretty sure I read something that no rookie guard has recorded that many rebounds since 2000.

i just learned that triple doubles are only impressive if you score more than 15 points on less than 8 shots. anything else its like whats the point

The players who I think are transcendent have lines like I posted.

Nobody gets the one you posted.

Lonzo's line isn't too terribly impressive, I'm sorry.

Once again, Suns fan here, so I hope Lonzo doesn't turn into a great player. But is it crazy to think he could possibly start putting up triple-doubles with 20+ points during his career considering he's had two triple-doubles already and he just turned 20 three weeks ago?

Dude I just can't really handle my best player scoring 9-11 points on a nightly basis.

If I had the decision of, "do you want your best player to go 11/16/10 on 38% every single game of his career," I'd 100% say frick no.

You'd take that?

So the only reason the line is impressive is because of his age?

I'm talking about the line in general.

in what universe does it make sense to judge 20 year olds who havent even played 20 games in their career like you would judge james harden?

a point guard grabbing 16 rebounds is, at the bare minimum, something that is noteworthy. i cant even believe this is something i have to argue

Another question: Is it insane to think the Lakers might assemble a team where Lonzo isn't the best player over the next few seasons? Like perhaps they make a move to acquire Klay or PG? Maybe the executives who get paid a lot of money would say "Hey, Lonzo might not put up 30 a night, but if we assemble really good players who can knock down threes and finish at the rim, maybe Lonzo can use his playmaking skills to get them a lot of looks."

In the world where their fans and media convinced everyone of how truly special the kid is at the game of basketball.

And what's the need for your PG to grab 16 boards? I feel like it's the same thing as a safety getting 16 tackles.

Do you really want that? And does it mean Lonzo is a god rebounder? And is that even THAT noteworthy?

How'd he get 16 rebounds?
