Am I the only one who has no desire to watch their product?

At the same time, they are taking all of the big names from the PGA tour making it a lackluster watch as well.

I think the PGA did a good job of driving its talent away

I’m actually very thankful that during un unbelievably exciting time in the sport the Saudis came in and fixed it and gave us MORE golf.

Nobody can deny this is awesome for the game.

Personally yes. I just don't watch LIV at all. So the end result is I just watch way less golf in general.

I don't care at all about LIV. Not by a moral standard, I just don't care.

The split sucks. I want to see the top 20 players in the world compete against each other 15 times a year. whether that is on the PGA Tour or Liv is irrelevant to me.

The PGA tour response has reminded me of the Dems and big tech. Shady tricks, blackballing of sponsors, and censorship. For that reason alone I pull for LIV to have success.

“The pga tour response”. How would you like them to respond when an another organization is poaching their players paying them half a billion dollars?

Find a Genie and rub the lamp and ask for money?

I don’t think it’s really helping. I tried giving LIV a shot but just can’t get into it.

The pga didn’t realize the leverage of the players not named Tiger or Rory.. they still don’t get it when they pump out huge bonuses to these guys while great young golfers and aging vets get told to get in line or else.

No, they’re killing the PGA Tour that plays most of their golf in the US.

LIV is bringing some of the best players in the world to play in other countries like Australia, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, & Singapore.

Well they have actually been correct here

The PGA tour had its highest tv ratings ever last year, so in terms of having leverage the players that left didn’t have much because it didn’t hurt the bottom line, and people didn’t tune into liv.

Honestly, I think really only Tiger has “leverage”. He is the only needle mover form a golfer perspective

It is definitely trying to. It’s great for the players but it just sucks for the fan.

Their coverage is cartoonish and I hate the format. Dudes are out there playing glorified exhibitions. No history. Nothing on the line.

But with that said if all the top players went to LIV I’d be totally fine with it. I just want to see them all play together more than 4 times a year.

It has to get more serious. The player that won the entire Liv league was just traded for one of the worst players in the league in order to keep people happy Thats showing it’s truly not about winning

They basically made a straight up trade of Mahomes for Carr because Kamara and Carr didn’t like each other. Think about that

Someone on this board should go to the PGA Houston Open on 3/28 & then go to LIV Houston on 6/7 and tell us how much better the PGA Event is for “fans”.

When it comes down to it, most of the haters are small minded & are just thinking about the golfers they get to watch on tv every Saturday and Sunday.

Go to an event & tell me the PGA is so much better than the LIV product that they are bringing to other countries all over the world

And they are going to continue to lose players. The leverage was there hence the fact that they’ve been getting paid millions to jump ship. The pga not realizing that leverage is why they are morphing into the unknown

Why you? You are the one that loves it so much

And also, Reauxl, the highest liv hater here, did go to an event. Ask him about it

Live in person professional golf is about 0.2% of the professional golf I watch. Why the frick would I care about this experience?

Yes. I absolutely care about what players I get to watch on Saturday and Sunday. That’s the whole point.

What a dumb arse statement.

Because the organization paying them doesn’t care about ROI. The tour has to. That’s the entire point. The tour can’t match what LIV is paying because the players aren’t even close to being actually worth that.
