Jones has stretches where he looks like one of the few best player in the league. I love watching him play. I’d take him over everyone but Henry.

James Robinson - probably better

Mixon
Saquon (injuries - team sucks, kind of getting the Fournette treatment)
D'andre Swift

All definitely better than Leonard

Jonathan Taylor is better
Najee Harris is better
Chris Carson is better

None of these guys are clearly better than Fournette right now.

Those 50 yards/game are unbelievable

1 rush over 20 yards

He always falls forward but great NFL RB he is not

Well that's just not true. Robinson and Ekler probably are. Mixon averages less YPC, Saquon is never healthy (and has bad numbers this year). Swift is below leonard in every rushing category.

The others on that list I can give you although I’d argue against a few like Najee just because he’s only played 5 games in the NFL and Robinson because no one else on his team can do anything so he gets unlimited opportunities.

I straight disagree about Clyde and Ekeler. Ekeler, while a great NFL player is in the perfect system for his skill set which is pass catching not rushing and Clyde really hasn’t proven anything so far in the league and seems to consistently be injured

I was about to say he doesn’t look unbelievable at all he is in a great offense and pretty much gets What the run is blocked to get. He is not really making anyone miss.

Think you could argue the same thing for Fournette

Statistics show they're virtually the same player.

Jacob’s has back to back 1000 yard seasons and 19 tds in his first two seasons.

Najee is clearly better off eye test alone. Najee in the Bucs offense would have monster numbers. He also has most scrimmage yards by all rookies so far.

Taylor had an 1100 yard season and 11 TDs rookie year and its on pace to surpass that in a terrible offense.

Edwards-Helaire may be too soon to say he’s better, but I’m taking him over Fournette right now imo.

Mixon has injury issues, but clearly better when healthy.

If we want to simply look at the stat sheet, Fournette is 23rd in rushing yards and 20th in ypc, so clearly he’d be outside of the top 10

Disagree. I’d take Fournette over CEH. Truthfully, I’d probably take Fournette over Jacobs right now.

Leonard had similar numbers (minus some goalline touches) in his first and third year.

See above. Fournette in a terrible offense had similar numbers.

I'll be honest, I don't watch many steelers games. I like Najee and think he has the potential to be a top 5 back in the league, but just looking at the stats you can't say he surpasses Fournette just yet.

This is what’s so funny about Fournette sunshine pumpers. They wanna talk stats, but stats show that he’s bottom tier in the league.

Fournette only is capable of top 20 and that’s in this amazing offense. He’s perfect for this system because he doesn’t have to be a star and he’s packs a punch when the defense is on its heels. He’s average at most franchises in the NFL.

Fournette
56 carries for 251 (4.5 ypc) and 1 score
19 receptions for 167 yards

Taylor
73 carries for 327 (4.5 ypc) and 2 scores
14 receptions for 197 and 1 score

I mean this is pretty disingenuous. He shined in jaxonville until they sold off their entire team. Then he was average, and now he seems to be trending back in the right direction.

No one is saying he's a superstar, but he's having a decent season right now.

Jonathan Taylor 5.6 yards per touch for his career
Leonard Fournette 4.6 yards per touch for career

You tell me how that’s virtually the same player?

I’m not trying to sunshine pump I’m asking a question, he seems to have resurrected his career.

And using 2nd year guys rookie seasons to supplant them ahead of Fournette is dubius, remember Fournette was a 1000 yard rusher as a rookie and in his 3rd year (he got hurt year 2), on a god awful team
