I don't think anyone views Kawhi as an elite defender, but rather as the only guy who could sort of slow down Lebron. Having a ton of help D is the right thing to do. No reason to penalize Kawhi. He played pretty damn well in the second half of the series.

Why wouldn't people view Kawhi as an elite defender when he is just that?

The Spurs basically ran a 4 person offense with whoever Lebron wasn't guarding. They put him on Parker most of this game and Parker didn't score until the game was over

Parker struggles weren't because of Lebron. He missed a ton of shots he normally knocks down with ease. He was still getting a ton of good looks.

It's another Lebron myth. He is not a great one on one defender unless he is guarding a smaller player because he can use his length and quickness to stop them from getting to the basket. But you could shoot jumpers on him all day because he sags off. But I will give him credit he is a great shot blocker.

So You think Lebron's not a great one on one defender, then you say he's a great shot blocker? My head is spinning here.

By the way, Lebron had exactly 2 more blocks this season than Kyle Korver, and Lebron played 500 extra minutes.
