agreed. he's a drama queen baby back bitch but he is on the Mount Rushmore of NBA players without question.
Mount Rushmore would be top four. LeBron is not. I would have Wilt, Russell, Kareem, Magic, Jordan, Bird, Kobe, Duncan, Shaq, and Dr. J ahead of him at a minimum.

Nobody says he is not. He's just unlikable. For many legit reasons.

Disliking someone and not realizing what they are actually talented at has to hurt. I hope many of you do not pass this down to your children.
Imagine a world where all of the stuff Kareem was doing is done during 2003-2026? Does he make it?
Same goes for Bill Russel and his stances that he took during that time period.
We can add in the Jordan gambling nights....
We can add in Larry Bird in the backwoods of Indiana right?
Dr. J and his sleepless nights and electric parties.
Kobe got caught up in most of it at the beginning of the social media era with his Rape Scandal...
But imagine worlds where all of these "LEGENDS"... have to also be under microscopes and have everything publicized. How you walk, how you talk, what you eat, what you drink...
All of it factors into it all. The fact that LeBron has had to go through all of it from Day 1 til he is finished just shows how incredible everything he has done has been.

The OP does a shite job of explaining his point
Lebron is one of the greatest players of all time likely #2
But a “legend” has a mythical quality about them which Lebron just doesnt have. Jordan, Bird, Magic do. Id argue Steph has been more of a legend than lebron in this era.

What doesn't he have?
Do yourself a favor and click the link:
LEBRON HIGH SCHOOL GAME - LEGEND COMPARISON
(Just have to watch the first Minute to put yourself into this thread and what LeBron has accomplished - Video is from 2002 btw....ha 24 Years Later)
Before he even played an NBA GAME....
Before he ever amounted to what he has today...
Very Very Very difficult to do anything semi-successful when the pressure is put on you like that, and he just continued...
LEGEND

I didn't consider any of that, I was thinking about basketball. Probably the dumbest thing you wrote was the backwoods Indiana Larry Bird comment. What did that mean?

I would like to not post what he would have likely said or done around that time period....
but you can also understand it.

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say at all. Spell it out for us, maybe provide some evidence.

If you say this and still put Kobe above LeBron, you are genuinely retarded.
LeBron is better than Kobe at almost everything on a basketball court. Shooting, passing, rebounding, shot blocking, three point shooting, etc. The ONLY thing Kobe was better at is free throw shooting.
Just because Kobe made mean faces and scowled after he hit a late game shot does not mean he was a better player.

Yes yes, his stats are a thing to behold, but when you are 6’8 250 lbs and play from the time you are 18 until what is he now? 40? You should be able to pad stats for years on end.
Yeah it’s so easy anyone could do it

To avoid hard moments and hard games as often as lebron has throughout his career. With the no defense NBA of the last 15 or so years, all the newer players do have an easy blueprint example. All they have to do is play like lebron. That is to say, play like a big puss.
Posted on 4/3/26 at 5:54 pm to lsubatman1
He’s surpassed Kareem and the most unlikable legend in NBA history. He’s finally the GOAT at something
Posted on 4/3/26 at 5:55 pm to biglego
No, he needed the full and corrupt support of the league and a network to pull it off. Wasn’t easy carrying this guy to where he is.

This, and I DESPISE that POS

He's in the unique position of being a top 3 player of all time who will disappear from the public consciousness immediately after he is done playing.
