Fields is using the race card only so he can play immediately at OSU. It's disgraceful, and would open a floodgate of similar allegations by other players all over the country wanting to transfer and play immediately.

While I agree that the comments that were said about him weren't right, he is using this situation to his advantage and to play immediately.
He's not transferring because of the comments, he couldn't win the quarterback competition and is using this as a way out that won't make him look like a quitter.

This is why we cant hold any value to "racism" nowadays. It gets thrown around and is watered down so much, true racists dont look as bad.

I heard some radio guys saying that the loophole also works if you claim home sickness. So if you are flirting with a few schools, take your shot at one far away and then if you don't like it or don't get to play, transfer back home close to mommy and you wont have to sit. Gross.
