Allen has the best size, running speed/power, and quick release throw combo that is unmatched in the NFL right now.

John Elway was pretty damn good, cannon arm, running capability, tough as hell, size.

Arm - Jamarcus Russell
Well, this is dumb. "Arm" isn't purely arm strength. It's arm talent. And Jamarcus Russell had none of that.

Patrick Mahomes
I don't care for the Chiefs, but this dude is unreal. Even while he was getting pounded by Tampa's defensive line he was still throwing 30 yard lasers to his receivers while falling down. If they'd actually catch them the game would have been much closer.
In terms of pure athleticism? Michael Vick and it's not even close. Dude was the ultimate dual-threat QB with a big body and blazing speed. Unfortunately he played in the NFL long before NFL coaches started getting away from prototypical prostyle playbooks.

I would rather have Mahomes or Rodgers because they are also mobile, but have better arm talent in the sense that I think they can put trajectories on the ball and make throws that Allen can't. Yes, he has a cannon, we get that.

He is a young Big Ben. Roethlisberger ran a 4.75 at his combine. Allen ran a 4.76. Ben was a beast of a runner early on.

Vick, Cunningham, Allen......... It's a toss-up.

A lot of younger NFL fans don't know how insanely athletic for his size Ben was before the motorcycle accident.

John Elways has been mentioned far too infrequently.

What was confusing? There is a different between being able to throw a ball 70 yards on your knees, and "arm talent". JR had none of the latter. Never seen more explicable 20 yard overthrows from any other quarterback at any level. Dude was trash.

Does anybody remember Steve Young?

His completion pct is 66% over the last two years(exact same as Mahomes)
I think he has the trajectory thing figured out

Since you didn't mention accuracy...I'm going to submit one Taysom Hill as the most physically gifted QB of all time.

Herbert has better Combine numbers than Allen, just sayin.

Cam Newton's accuracy passing is nowhere near Josh Allen's accuracy!

Nah bruh...Josh Allen can make those those throws too!
