Is Jokic wasting his career in Denver?

Sure he’s going to win an NBA title this year and probably could win others there.
But let’s face it, considering how good he is, he’s not nearly as big a star as he should be.
because Denver plays lots of west coast teams (and isn’t a big market California team) they don’t get nearly as much tv time and attention as they should. Casual fans have heard of him, but really don’t know how good he really is.
Ratings are down for this nba finals.
Sure Jokic will probably do well inDenver, but his legacy would be so much bigger at a place like, say Madison Sq Garden.
Imagine Jokic as the face of the Knicks? Look at how big Porzingis was during his time there and he isn’t even that good.
If Jokic won a title or two for the Knicks, he’d be the face of the NBA, bigger than Lebron or Jordan.
Just sayin, as I like Joker but think he has a higher ceiling than Denver.

Did Duncan waste his career in San Antonio?

Jokic, on the record, has turned down tons of endorsement deals. He doesn't care. He just wants to play basketball.
When the season's over, he just goes back to Serbia and the nuggets literally have to fly his trophies out to him.

People seem to forget just how big Jordan was. Unless Jokic is able to 3 to 4x the NBA finals ratings, he’s not bigger than Jordan.
Jordan could pull football level ratings.

The European dudes are well adjusted and don’t give 2 shits about how “big of stars” they are.
Provide for your family . Work at your craft. Spend time with your loved ones.
Leave that self worship star bullshite for the demons bruh

He was a low profile kind of guy.
Like Kawhi going to the clippers instead of the Lakers.
Maybe Jokic is similar to them.
But let’s face it, people ask the same questions about Giannis in Milkwaukee.
Just saying Jokic would be such a huge star on the Knicks.

Bigger than Lebron and MJ??? Somebody drank some stupid juice today.

That's b/c he doesn't care. He's a lot like Dirk in that he balls out, goes home, and doesn't spend a lot of time chasing endorsements.

Jokic could give two shits about being a “star”
Or being the “face of the league”
He just wants to play basketball and that’s it.

Just answered your own question.
If he leaves cause of star status he heads to a place like the Lakers and then everyone will question how he could have been a legend if had stayed with Denver. Bringing Denver its first NBA title is legendary.

the exact same thing could have been said about Curry when he showed up to the Warriors

Jokic doesn't give a shite about any of that. If he had a choice, he'd probably choose Denver over any larger market just so he can continue to be low profile.
All he cares about is playing basketball, and riding horses in his home country.
