Sure as hell not above CP3, Tony Parker, Russell Westbrook, Irving, or a healthy DRose. If you consider Steph Curry a PG he's better than Rondo as well.

The Celtics are 19-14 without him. They were 20-23 before he went down. Continuing the trend over the last few years of them being better with him on the bench. Sorry, a top 2 PG's team does not get better when he is out. He actually really improved his shot this year which is the only thing stopping me from calling him the most overrated player in the NBA.

People that make reactionary threads like this are idiots. Yes, JW is playing amazing ball right now. Hooray. Essentially what you're saying is he's finally living up to his massive potential. And he's doing that over a one month period. What about the other point guards that, you know, do that ALL FRIGGIN' SEASON LONG (and possibly for multiple seasons)? Ugh. Wait, you're right, he's the next Jordan.

Piss off. Watch the game. Enjoy what he's doing now but stop with the moronic superlatives until he can produce at a high level for a sustained period of time.

He's the best defender of any pg in the NBA, manuevers through heavy traffic at will, is a triple double machine, and has been carrying those aarp fricks known as the Celtics for years. But yeah I see what you're saying.

Yeah, the Celtics would be a .500 team or worse without Rondo. The big 3? They were Rondo and the other 3..

I'll reframe the question as "has John Wall played the best PG in the league over the past month?", and the answer to that question is yes.

Original question is silly. But Wall's on another planet right now.

I'm glad he is finally living up to his enormous potential, because he was electric on college.

Its about time, JW is playing with a team that he doesn't have to pass the ball to. Might as well drop numbers and get the max contract
