B. Giannis was still developing and not yet elite, you think he can’t shoot now? He was worthless outside 10 ft then and worse around the rim.

JB Bickerstaff is up there. He takes over a Rockets team that won 56 games and went to the Western Conference Finals. The next year the Rockets go 41-41 with Bickerstaff as the interim coach of the season. Than he becomes the coach of a Grizzlies team coming off seven consecutive playoff appearances and they promptly manage to go in the tank winning 22 and 33 games the last two years respectively.

Kidd certainty looks terrible this year, as Giannis had already made his huge leap prior to Bud’s arrival, and Bledsoe, Middleton & Brogdon were pretty much set as well.
I think a lot of people think Bill Cartwright is one of the worst coaches of all time.

I think people on basketball circles give him a lot of credit for developing a lot of those young Bucks players. It’s why the Lakers basically demanded he be on their coaching staff
