I defend him cus his career isnt over yet. when he stops playing we can come back and look at this thread. Hell that could be next year, or 10 years from now.

I would like to see him have a change of scenery at least once before labeling him the biggest bust in NFL history. I am neither a hater or a apologist for JR.

The Raiders recent history shows they aren't really known for making good draft decisions or developing them. If Micheal Bush and McFadden were on different teams then they might be so forgotten either.

Micheal Bush's stats

List of QB Wonderlic Scores It's just too bad there is not test to measure the will to play football.

I would love to see D Mac go elsewhere. Even as a Cowboys fan I have a hard time seeing Felix Jones as a better rb. I would love for the cowboys to sign him next year and the two be on the same team.

you can't make someone do something. If they don't wanna give 100% they won't. Plus, most people won't help you especially in the NFL. If you are self motivated they don't care screw you.

yeah, but you can motivate someone to give 100% effort. Different people respond to different types of motivation but it can be done.

Hell in JR's freshman year, he pissed off Saban and was benched for the first half of the Cap 1 bowl. Saban put him in to start the 2nd half and he played probably the best he had that year. From what I've heard about his time at LSU he is the type of guy that needs the an in your face, drill Sgt type riding him all the time to be motivated.

that is true. However, i still think there are unreachable guys. The guys that just don't "get it". They aren't coachable.

i loved JR at LSU and still appreciate what he did for us. that being said, as a Raiders fan I am ready for him to GTFO and be replaced by McNabb. Yeah we have the worst run organization in all of sports, but damn he's done nothing to help himself out or make the situation one bit better.

Loved him at LSU, best quarterback we have had in recent years. However he is an absolute bum in the NFL. Maybe he will get it turned around but he is lazy and does himself no favors in the public eye. What a huge waste of talent , so far.
