re: Is Iowa a better CFB program than Nebraska?

Nebraska’s stadium is very nice. I was amazed how close you could get to the players. There was like a concourse that was very close to the sideline and they were like 5 feet away. It got very loud when I went but it was against Ohio State a couple of years ago. I think there is much more money flowing through that program as well. Warren Buffet is a good alumnus to have. If he really got involved they could compete again with anyone.

Do you feel the same way about LSU's 2019 title since they didn't have to beat #2 in a title game?

This question makes no sense.
Penn State and Michigan were both undefeated. #2 OSU lost to #3 Clemson in the semifinals in 2019. If there had been a poll between the semifinals and finals, Clemson would have been #2.
I don’t question the legitimacy of any national title in the playoff era - and not too many outside of it. I may question if the team that won it was actually the best team, but I don’t necessarily question the title.
For example, I don’t think 1986 PSU was as good as Miami and probably not as good as Oklahoma either, but I don’t question that they deserved the championship. They might have lost to Miami the next nine times, but they didn’t lose the only one that mattered.
But split titles like 1997 and years when a major undefeated team (1994 PSU, 2004 Auburn, etc.) didn’t get a shot or maybe had a comparable resume to #1, I may question those to varying degrees.

Yep. Because a better looking stadium wins games...

I saw that in 2020 they were ranked #23 and lost to an unranked G5 USL squad coached by Billy Napier Just 4 years after #11 Iowa lost to an FCS school. Same shite
Florida has had 4 losing seasons since Covid.
Iowa has had 1 in the last quarter century, back in 2012.
Iowa state has had a dozen the last quarter century

I know Florida is a shitty program
Iowa is simply an irrelevant one

By your retarded metrics, 90% of programs are irrelevant, but most are more relevant than Florida these days

No just Iowa
Iowa is an irrelevant program in an irrelevant state

Both are strong programs with great fans. Good old American Big Ten West football the way God intended.
not to speak for God, but i’m pretty sure he’d rather Nebraska and Oklahoma play annually

I don’t live in Iowa, you cum dumpster. Place sucks. I left >20 years ago
It’s hilarious you think these things insult me. Shows how fricking inbred and retarded you really are.

No. We are cool.
I actually like Iowa, particularly the driftless area and some of the cities/towns on the Mississippi

You’re missing the whole point. Did you just disregard the following:
quote:
Nebraska always seems to have a higher ceiling — much higher than Iowa. It may be unfair or wrong, but that’s just how I perceive the two programs….Nebraska just always seems more invested and more of a big time program, right or wrong, than Iowa.
It’s no jab or slight to Iowa. I have nothing against them and kinda like them. Iowa has been more consistent as of late, but since 2000, Iowa has a .643 winning percentage while Nebraska has a .577. Iowa controls the head to head in that timeframe, but the difference between the two isn’t too far off. It’s not like comparing Nebraska to Ohio State. I just think Nebraska is more capable to turn the corner than Iowa. That’s all. I mean, their history speaks for itself…they’ve proven they can win and win big.

But he won't. He's made it very clear that he's not going to donate to the football program, only academic programs.
