bump thread

Many here talk about Cam, but Palmer has much better stats leading the Cards.

I think Cam is leading, but Palmer seems more a sentimental bet.

I dunno.

Speaking of stats...

As a Carolina fan I am obviously pulling for Cam but would not be upset if he didn't get it. Palmer is equally deserving IMO. Lets see how the rest of the season plays out

Have you seen Newtons stats ever since I made the thread of doom; and he and the team posted that shite in their locker room?

Last 7 weeks (post thread of doom)

22 TDs 2 INTs

First 7 weeks (pre thread of doom)

11 TDs 8 INTs

He has taken a gigantic shite on me. He went from mediocre QB to god mode and his team is 14-0. I have created a machine and I have no idea how to stop it.

Cam is #1 in total tds
top 10 in rushing touchdowns
top 5 in passing touchdowns
top 10 in rushing first downs

Palmer doesnt have "much" better stats like you say.

Honestly they should be co-MVP's like the year Manning and McNair split it

If he is, it would be fricking nice for him to show it tonight for my FFL sake. So far, all I've got is an rb td and a fricking fg. Cam had 5 scores.

Cam is obnoxious, so he well get the vote. He moves the meter with being a Jerry Maguire player.

Both play with top 4 defenses.

Carson is #1 on ESPN's QBR (whatever that is) and had 4,003 yards and 31 Tds.

Cam is #8 on ESPN's QBR and has 3,062 and 28 Tds.

Carson is destroying Cam in yards passing. But Cam is a polarizing fan favorite and Carson is vanilla.

The key part here is among ALL players. Not just QBs. Anyone who, at THIS point, denies Cam being THE most valuable player to his team in the league... Well they are too sold out to their own hatred of a human being that plays a game... Better than anyone else in quite a while.

We've seen how shitty the Cardinals are without Palmer and with him they're a top-3 team in the league. So you could easily make the "valuable" argument there as well.

Carson is boring, he just isn't interesting...

And while I think he is the better story - with his late career comeback...

Cam appears to be the better story because that is all anyone is talking about on MSB...and voters feel the pulse of the public.

Cam locked it up with that final drive to get them in FG range to go 14-0. He played them to a huge lead, they tie it up, and in the national tv game of the week, led them straight down the field.

Take Palmer off the Cards and they're a 5-11 team.

Take Cam off the Panthers and they're a 7-9 or 8-8 team.

The Panthers run an offense that Cam absolutely thrives in and relies heavily on the run much like at Auburn. (over 50%)

Both are playing great football
