Don't compare Burrow to Brees until he accomplished the above. Until then he can't hold Brees jockstrap.

The only think he hasn’t done is deliver without elite WRs. Brees was able to do that.

He is much better than Brees. If he had a good team around him we would be asking if he is as good as Brady.

The MVP is a regular season award anyway. Brees best years statistically were either losing teams or someone Rodgers in 2011 Mahomes 2018 were slightly better unfortunately

He did not play his first year, year 2 he threw 17 TDs and 16 int on 526 passes. In year 3, his 2nd as a starter. Brees was benched for 40 yo Doug Flutie and the Chargers drafted a QB #1.
Burrow by contrast in year 1 as a starter only threw 5 picks and in year 2 had 34 TDs w 14 picks on 520 passes and did lead the league in comp %. Wow 6 fewer passes than Brees in a “pass happy offense”
Look Brees is a first ballot Hall of Famer and a top 10 all time QB. Burrow has much work to do to even get in the discussion but point of fact he has been better in his first 5 years than Brees was in his.

2009. Manning over Brees was at the time and still is a disgusting travesty.
