They only have 1 conference title between the 4 of them.

What are you talking about? Tennessee won the SEC Championship in 97. They beat Auburn. They won the SEC and the National Championship the next season with Tee Martin.

Ironically it took Peyton leaving for Tee Martin to win it. But, Tee had an assist from Clint Stoerner of Arkansas.

Not really. Tennessee had been beefing up its line for the last couple of his years. They were exposed by Nebraska in the Orange Bowl. Those lines paid off the next year when they won it all.

Then why click on a thread that is discussing him?
Stop torturing yourself and skip over it.

It didn’t come in time to help him vs UF or Nebraska in 97. He ran for his life in both of those games. They were significantly better the next year, though.

So a HC who got fired for being drunk at a Southern Cal booster club speech should not have to be accountable?

He had Garland Gillen and Josh Preston behind him. Maxpreps literally paid Josh Preston to make highlight videos of his games all 4 years at Newman. They never had a team close to Karr or John Curtis but the hype would make you think they were.

He’s just driven lots of clicks and lots of hype

So Sarkesian made him his guy because of the video guy at Newman???

you're an idiot

Arch wasn't 1st Team All State until senior year.

so sportswriters are the guys who judge college football talent?

Sark should have checked with the La sportswriters before getting Arch ready to start for an SEC program

Might not have been Sarkisian’s choice… remember it’s a business now and colleges have GMs

True. But he never beat Florida and didn’t win anything notable until after Danny graduated.
