Finding ways to win doesn’t matter. Committee has made that fairly clear.

Compare to LSU
Indiana: 8-1. Loss on the road to full strength Ohio State by one possession. Best wins are Northwestern, @ Nebraska, @ Michigan, and Minnesota
LSU 6-2. Losses to Kentucky and Ole Miss where the team looked VERY pedestrian on both sides of the ball. Best wins are Texas A&M? Louisiana Tech (lol)?

QB doesn’t play D and tOSU hasn’t given up 30 since October 2024.
tOSU also racked up nearly 500 yards and only had 1 turnover.

I thought Indiana outplayed Ohio State most of that game. Both offenses were very mid, but that Indiana defense is elite and their special teams (REAL problem) let them down.
They aren’t great, no one is great. But 80% of this board is crowning LSU where both the offense and the defense has looked bad for entire games. I mean, there’s a legitimate chance they end up 8-4.

Also, including state in this shows you’re a fricking idiot. They were playing a true freshman on the road in his first start. That is a meaningless game

LSU’s defense looked pathetic for all but about 3 drives against Kentucky

Leavitt and the offense were total dog shite for all but 2 drives against ole Miss and the defense was bad bad against Kentucky and really not great against ole Miss either. Though I give part of that blame to the offense putting them behind the 8 ball all night.
I do have more confidence in the defense, but Leavitt has shown his entire career he can have stretched where he is just a total liability and they have ZERO room for error at this point. I think LSU is likely a top 12 team, but they aren’t great either. And their flaws are more glaring than several teams

That’s how fantastic the state defense must be right?

That’s how fantastic the state defense must be right? Because Minny managed 16 pts against the vaunted Indiana defense you keep sucking off….
There’s 8 games of data, use it. Denying how good Indiana is on defense is just cognitive dissonance. Watch them play, they are never out of position, tackle, and don’t commit penalties. They’re good.
Their offense sucks though

And there is 8 games worth of data on LSU. Why don’t we use that data to look at their offense and defense rankings shall we?

They’ve been very hot and very cold. Playoffs are single elimination. LSU could win it all (if they can get in) or Leavitt could play like dog shite and they could get beat. Or the defense could play like dog shite against a qb like mensah and get beat.
Good stats against a schedule where they’ve lost against the two best teams they’ve played though.

Good defense against a schedule where they got beat by the only good team they played though….
Mingo you get bama and Texas next. Should be easy to see how right you are
Best part is you will be cheering hard as shite against your own team to try and prove some mornic internet take you have

Indiana’s defense looked better in their loss to Ohio state than LSU’s offense against ole Miss or defense against Kentucky
I think LSU is a better team than Indiana, but if they were to play I’d be scared as hell Indiana could stop the run and make Leavitt try to beat them, which can be a recipe for disaster for LSU.
Or maybe the LSU defense rolls Indiana’s shitty offense up and it doesn’t matter. The point is it isn’t clear cut and Indiana doesn’t “suck” while LSU is the best team in the country. It’d be a close game.

I hope I’m wrong, I just won’t feel let down when lsu isn’t even in the playoff. My peace was made with that after Kentucky

Remember last year when everyone here said Indiana wasn’t very good because they had a soft schedule, then the big ten went out and dominated the SEC, and Indiana gave Alabama their most humiliating post season loss of all time?
Posted on 11/1/26 at 8:01 am to AZTiger7072
Georgia would roll that team by 3 TDs.

LSU is ragdolling that Indiana team if they played right now. So there is that.
