I never understood how you give up a 50 yard TD run on a 4th and 1, when you basically have a goaline defense out there.

It's because they were in basically goalline. You don't worry about anything but the goalline. At the 35 yard line, you cannot have everyone up on the LOS...or that happens.

I just don't understand for the life of me why Jones is the starting QB. He doesn't provide anything at this point and his confidence is shot IMO

With Sudfeld IU is a bowl team I'm certain of it now. Without him they don't win another game. Just like last year.
