Doc rivers saying she is welcome at the game is a joke. Doc and all of these players displaying their outrage are showing how ignorant they are by not even understanding the larger picture.
Like damn people, 5 minures on google and you understand that this whole family sucks, you need a mistress to call tmz with a story that hurts your feelings to make you get off your arse?

But we're on a slippery slope with this punishment. The ban and the fine are okay, that's the NBA's decision as they're a private corporation, right? BUT, I do have a problem with this urging to get him to sell the team. Donald Sterling SHOULD sell the Clippers, but on his own accord. The NBA should not force him to, as that's pushing some serious boundaries and setting a very invasive precedent.
They should have just banned them and said "he'll be dead soon away" because i think forcing him out is going to be a shitshow no matters what the NBA rules say about the 3/4 vote.

the Owners have to approve all sells... that's not gonna happen.

Ole girl knew what she was doing when she brought up the Holocaust. She knew exactly how to piss off an old Jew.

basically
this thread is more about the media, though. if they want to attack the wife, holy shite, they are being hypocrites
and if they don't attack the wife, then they are being willfully ignorant to sell a media-created narrative

Throw in the young mistress who the wife doesn't seem to care about, slumlording, and suing anything that moves and you have the perfect mix

That it's a ploy by her to distance herself so he can give her the team and avoid capital gains taxes.
only way to avoid significant tax dollars is for sterling to pass away and will the team to her ( this case they would only owe taxes on the difference between the appraisal of the team and actual sale price). Just transferring the team to her now does not avoid the capital gains tax of 33% from 12 mil to possibly 1 billion

Those all go hand in hand with old Jewish lawyers

This reminds me so much of the media's--and Bud Selig's--reaction to the baseball steroid scandal. You guys were either complicit in the cover up or are grossly incompetent.

I made a thread last night that got whacked but the point was all these white journalists/sports media figurse are trying to out-outrage each other, if one person says that Sterling should be banned for 5 years the next white journalist at least needs to say he needs to be banned for 5 years or be deemed a racist apologist, so that white journalist just to be safe will go the extra step and say he needs to be banned for 10 years.

I listen to mike and mike because I don't have satellite radio and it's better than walton and johnson.
Mike and mike just replayed the kevin johnson interview they did this morning. He said Donald Sterling's past actions were a big reason why he is banned for life today.
No, they aren't.
