I'm thinking that KD's original injury was an achilles problem, not calf

The way that dude is crying on TV saying that he should be to blame...... It's strange. Something is not right with this.

We heard countless times over the last month that the major risk with a calf injury is that it puts extra strain on the Achilles

Well he doesn't have a calf so

Here's the thing, achilles injuries are well-known for being the most devastating basketball injury you can have
Durant would never have been brought back if his achilles was injured, and I don't think he would have played as well as he did in the first quarter.
Now if you want to argue that he was rushed back at the increased risk of an achilles injury? Well that makes more sense to me.

Reggie Miller said the minute it happens vs Houston that it was an Achilles

Tendons attach muscle to bone
The Achilles’ tendon attaches the gastrocnemius muscle (calf muscle) to the calcaneus (the heelbone)
Original injury was a calf strain, which also affects the Achilles too because they are attached to one another

I don't know about that.
I think it was a calf that wasn't fully healed, and he probably did what you do when you're hurt in one area of your body; you overcompensate in another area. In this case, the increased compensation was at the Achilles, and tendons don't have a lot of give in them.

It’s the same area.

It was his calf. He should have been on a 6 week rest period, and they rushed him back and paid the consequences
If the Doctors truly cleared him, they fricked up big time. It took 10 minutes for the calf strain to turn into a blown achilles

Bruh do you know what an Achilles is?

I've always felt the original injury was his Achilles.

I've had Achilles soreness off and on for about five years. Exercises and the foot rocker have helped but it still gets tight at times. When that happens, I tend to favor the other leg which has led to calf strains. Right Achilles soreness and left calf strain.
No idea about Durant but everything is connected and minor injuries can lead to major issues.
