I'm sick of hearing about bama
I'm sick of hearing about Clemson
I love em and I can't wait for the season but I'm sick of hearing about Georgia
I'm sick of hearing about Ohio St

There are 130 D1 programs. Let's hear about some of these others. It's usually the lesser known teams that are more interesting anyway.

I've been trying to get excited for the season watching preview shows and I just can't. Same boring arse stuff over and over.

I bought one of those CFB preview magazines and I've gotten more out of that in one day than all these damn preview shows. At least those magazines are willing to talk about the smaller teams

ESPN has the rights to the playoff games and pretty much 100% of their focus is on the playoff. It's not healthy for the sport.

it does create a self fulfilling prophecy, especially with how coverage impacts recruiting

however, OP is kind of funny b/c he's sick of hearing about
Clemson, something that would have been laughed at furiously on here 5 years ago

same with UGA, who just got hyped last year when they hadn't in a decade

and when did national CFB media coverage not focus on Bama/OSU? i don't think that level of media existed when they weren't top shelf

I'm curious about the USF vs UCF battle in the AAC.

I had no clue Lane did so well last year at FAU.

Will temple bounce back? Will Kansas get a win this year? I like Minnesot for Somme reason. How will they be?

The national media hasn't said anything about Georgia worth shite. I'll go listen to the press conferences or read the practice reports from specialist media on Georgia. The national media is just repeating PR drivel that big programs are so good at that say nothing

So it's not healthy to talk about the best teams in sports. Which is something we've been doing for the last 60+ years.

Gosh I hope ESPN decides to highlight the ULM Warhawks or Kansas Football program.

Why would they spend the two weeks before kickoff covering teams that didn't even make an NY6 bowl game.

Fwiw, this is why regional media and blogs exist.

And less than 15 of those are capable of winning a national championship in any given year.

Having a segment on Kansas might be fun. Looking into why they have failed so so horribly is like watching a dumpster fire that no one could look away from.

Me too this offseason

Really OSU hasn't been covered almost at all for their talent on the field

This happens when you only get the information that is spoon-fed to you. The Internet has tons of information available. Check it out sometime.

He’s right though. I understand why ESPN does it, but it’s really fricking annoying... branch out your coverage a little bit

CFB is a reality show and those teams are the stars. The networks will lead with that until other stories develop
