Not really

Carolina - Rebuilding
Atlanta - 28-3
Tampa Bay - With TB12 they have potential
New Orleans - Should be a strong contender

Gurley been done for 2 years now. Falcons would still be trash even with 2017 Gurley.

Gurley has NOT been the same player for little over a year now. He dropped off in the 2018 playoffs and then 2019 was just a pretty abysmal year. Had issues with his knee and then when he WAS healthy enough to play he wasn’t very good. That being said, I hope he goes to the Bucs and adds another big name to that offense.

Carolina: as much respect as I have for teddy and what he did for the saints, he's just not a franchise qb. those 5 games were won because the defense played lights out.

Atl: L L

Tampa: likely to come 2nd in the division

NO: should win division

Is Gurley that much better than Freeman? Makes the entire conference better? I think not.

Don’t be surprised if Atlanta picks up a rb in the middle rounds of the Draft and goes with a rb by committee approach. Cutting bait on that young defensive core that could never stay healthy/live up to their contracts was a smart move.

Saints overpaid Brees and will have to pay Kamara and their young defensive stars. They may squeak out a first place finish again but they are just as likely to finish third as first.

We’ll see what else Tampa does. They are a lock for second or better right now.

The moment Carolina signed Teddy that was a white flag on this season and next. He’s a game managing placeholder. If they are putting all their eggs in the Lawrence basket, they’ll be fourth for another 4 years. He’s a better prospect than Burrow, but not by much. Neither are franchise changers.
