That's a solid point. The biggest part of this Stanton news to me is that Harper won't be in NY.

I think Harper wants to be a Cub. Him and Bryant are really close and his dogs name is Wrigley.
Sanchez, Judge, Stanton in the middle of that order....that will be fun to pitch to.

Doubtful, i just don't see ownership, even with the big war chest, going to 35mil per, like he could get.
I've heard they have had their eyes on making a move for Machado since it was clear he would look to test the market.
It's rare to get guys right in or before their prime as Free agents. Teams will pay the price for him and harper.
