It's fair to question the falcons until they can prove something in the playoffs given their recent epic fails.

Atlanta also lacks a running game.

Has not stopped Green Bay or Denver.

The Falcons do not need a great game rushing game.

There have been a decent amount of 14-2 teams in the past. Not every single has been a world beater. You retards should actually see how the Falcons fare in this postseason first.

The Falcons have yet to do anything in the postseason under the current regime. We have no reason to expect Atlanta to suddenly become great in the postseason. Why will this year be any different, especially if they face the red-hot Seahawks or the Redskins?

The only way to check this is look at their schedule and take the average record of their opponents at the end of the season. And then see how they perform in the playoffs.

The only time the Falcons have looked impressive was against the Giants,

They beat Denver

True, but Atlanta doesn't have a Manning or Rodgers, actually they dont have anything close to those..

That's an impressive win without a doubt, but Denver wasn't what they are now in Week 2.

They are good.

What they did in the playoffs in 2007 has no bearing on 2012.

If they lose in the 1st round of the playoffs, it doesn't mean they aren't good.

So what does it mean? If you lose in the first playoff game AGAIN at HOME, sorry no other way to think, but they weren't very good.

Are they the best 14 win team in history... no. Are they even close to the worst 14 win team in history... hell no, first round loss or not.

As an NFL fan with no dog in this fight... this thread is funny.

Lets all point to to our teams SB ring from a few years ago while our team sits at home this year. smh

So what does it mean?

It means they lost their 3rd game of the year.

So, were the Saints not very good last year?

The year before?

Have there really been that many 14-2 teams in the NFL? Is it that easy to say hell no?

Bc this team is different. We have 2 different coordinators and Asante Samuel. Julio Jones and RW are the nest wr duo in the league and we are going into the playoff with some momentum.

Im sure there has been quite a few...

Either way, the Falcons this year are clearly a top tier team and not in the discussion for worst 14-2 team.
