If Miami and ND lose, that’s 6 of the top 7 teams that would have lost today

How many times in history have 1, 2, and 3 all lost on the same day? Guessing only happened once or twice if at all

Closest I can remember is when LSU jumped from 7 to 2 in final week of 2007 to make the BCS title game

And this board loves to say 2007 is the greatest season ever, but now this year is terrible and it’s just like the NFL.

It was different when only 2 teams got a title shot compared to 12 and every loss you thought you were out of it only to be pulled back in

You had teams like Boston College and USF reaching the top 2 spot. This still doesn’t touch that season in terms of insanity

I mean.. this board is part of an LSU focused site and LSU won it that year. Of course they think it was one of the best years ever.

According to AI the 1, 2 and 3 teams have never lost in the same weekend of the regular season.

However once it happened during bowl season, Alabama was #4 and beat #3 while #1 and #2 also lost giving Bama an unlikely national title in 1965.
