*at the time of the game the teams were top 10.

Will that be a record?

And if you leave out Aub and Texas, they will still have 5. Either way a huge accomplishment!

He still counts 7-6 Miami as a top 10 win from last year.

It’s harder to beat a team at the beginning of the season that thinks they’re good than a team that knows they aren’t good at the end of the season.

If LSU went to Texas now they’d win by 3 TDs.

That’s why people care about top 10 wins.

You act like LSU didn't provide the blueprint on their weakness and how to beat them.

It's a long year once a teams weakness is exposed.

Sounds suspect. Got any data to back that up?

There’s a big difference in playing a fired up 1/2/3-0 top 10 team with a fired up fan base and playing that same teams that’s 6-4 at the end of the season.

His doctor gave him fake dick pills. They worked until he found out they were fake. Like the placebo effect.

They aren't getting thru clemson and ohio state with that defense.

Considering that, maybe Oklahoma aside, their remaining opponents don’t/didn’t have near the level of talent as LSU, it’s not so easy to translate a blueprint.

Regardless Texas’s flaws (defense is really bad) were either already known (Beck is a poor OC) or so glaringly obvious (poor defense, particularly pass defense) that the blueprint to beat them would have been discovered pretty easily anyways, especially after they got into the conference schedule.

Bro no one fricking cares what teams were rated in September and October.

If LSU wins out they will have at least 2, maybe 3, top 10 wins based off rankings at the end of the season, when they actually count.

this is a fair point. But the problem is that it's hard to quantify that.
