he's done it before. he hasn't been as good as you're used to seeing, but it isn't like he crumbles in the playoffs.

81 points in a game in a season where you don't do anything doesn't fit your argument there

Lebron has been outproducing Kobe since he was like 19 years old, so the Kobe guys should probably stick to the rings argument. Even though it's a terrible argument, it's the best shot.

well comparing their games is just useless, Kobe is a better pure scorer and both players are needed to do different things. That and Lebron needs to be an actually offense and not just be left to roam free and do what ever.

How about production during these playoffs as an agurment, Kobe vs the jazz was insane he just buried them. Lebron vs the Celtics not so much. Also Kobe is the 3rd player in NBA history to go for 30+ 6 playoff games in a row. Dont see lebron doing that

ohhh i will, and i'll continue to remind you that lebron depends on his teammates to step up wayyyy too much.

meanwhile, kobe would bitch slap paul gasol if he missed a layup, murder derek fisher on the sidelines, then go drop 25 in the 4th quarter to get the win.

innocent lebron will just hint to the media that his team sucks, instead of taking the world on his shoulders and doing whatever for a win.

it's your job, get it fricking done son or don't bitch when your ringless and the end of your career!

Do you honestly thing the Cleveladn TEAM is remotely as good as Boston right NOW? Don't tell me about the regular season, because if you are watching, you'd know this Boston team is OBVIOUSLY nothing like the Boston of the regular season.

Final question, can you name ONE player playing today that could have led that Cleveland roster in place of Lebron to a series win over the Celtics? Of course not, so that basically kills your point, doesn't it?

all this = excuses

lebron averaged over 35/9/7 last year in the playoffs

As useless as bringing up stats from one game to prove some kind of a point.

Kobe is a better pure scorer

He's not a more efficient scorer than Lebron, and why does anything else matter? Efficiency is most important. Most amount of points you can get on each shot, I'll take that guy ANY day. Why would you take another guy? I don't get that.

That is correct, but if you're going to say that, then you have to admit that Lebron was better than Kobe last year.

Lebron went for 40/8/8 over a 6 game span. That is MUCH more impressive, and Kobe won't EVER do that.

he didn't score 30+ in 6 in a row all wins all with a broken finger and bad knew. Instead he was sent home early

Lebron is also the career leader for both PPG and PER in the playoffs among all active NBA players.

there's a whole lot of stats, numbers, and records lebron will break, bottom line is....none of that has translated into a championship, which basically means it counts for nothing.

It's an excuse that Lebron couldn't beat a team that had 4 of the best players on the court?

That is EXACTLy what a Kobe guy or Lebron hater would say. You're falling into the unknownknight camp with that.

That's ridiculous. If you could analyze this UNBIASEDLY, you'd know just how ridiculous that is. I don't know what else to tell you.

Like I said, if you can name 1 other player that could have replaced Lebron and beaten the Celtics, you'd have a point. Call it an excuse, I call it you having ZERO answer to a VERY valid point.

he got WAY too passive in the playoffs this year; elbow bullshite or not

which is what makes kobe such a great athlete

kobe is a competitor like mj/woods/jeter are. this is what makes him great.

he's done about as much as humanly possible to try and win a ship with that team and hasn't really bitched about anything

It ALWAYS goes back to team accomplishment with Kobe, because it HAS to.

Never fails.

So, Kobe is better because he got to play with Shaq and Gasol?

Yea, that makes sense.

isn't the goal to win it all, not just regular season champs and stats that don't translate when it really matters

so basically what you're saying is even if lebron puts on a dwyane wade finals magical performance but he doesn't have enough help around him to win a championship it's all his fault?

Of course that is the goal.

Let me ask you this, Is Scottie Pippen a better pro than Kobe?

Surely you think he is. If not, you're not being consistent at all.

That's EXACTLY what the Kobe guys are saying.

Hey, you get Gasol/Bynum/Odom, but shame on Lebron for not winning titles with Mo/Big Z/70 year old Shaq

here we go down this old beaten path of a lame excuse...never ending circle.

why can't the lebron arse-kissers just admit regardless of the talent around him at the end of the day it's still his job to bare the weight of the world on his shoulders and do whatever it takes to get his ring. I mean he is 'The King' aka 'The Chosen One' NO?

so what's stopping him?
