He's turned the ball over a lot but that's simply because he's asked to take risks in order to win games plus look at his record

I did. He has the same number or wins as Wilson and one more than RG3 in a Conference that is exponentially worse than the NFC.

Huh? The Colts brought in Donnie Avery, TY Hilton, Coby Fleener, and Dwayne Allen. They've surrounded him with skill position talent.

So the Colts rely on Luck, Hilton, Fleener, Allen and Ballard as their 5 offensive weapons (rookies) to go along with an aging Reggie Wayne, who is having one of his best seasons ever under Luck?

Interdasting. Every team in the nfl should add 5 offensive rookies since that's the recipe for success. No wonder they're winning more than 2 games

Would he win the ROTY this year?

can't compare one year to another. just saying you have to look outside the statistics.

For people weighing the Colts' improvement from 2 to 9 wins, consider that the Colts had great incentive to lose last year (i.e., to draft Luck) and almost no reason to win, particularly late in the season.

This as well

Look at Martin's season. Boom or bust. He's extremely inconsistent. Morris has been steady, even when RG3 is hurt.

Martin has gone over 100 yards 4 times in 14 games. They were against Minnesota, Carolina, Oakland, and Philly. I was saying until the Saints shut him down because he was ahead of Morris before that pitiful performance Sunday. Now Morris is ahead of him. It's very close though, basically I was just messing around. He has been super inconsistent though and got 1/5th of his total yardage for the season against Oakland.

-Fleener and Allen were the top 2 TE prospects in the draft. They were both 2-3 year starters who were as NFL ready as anyone.

-Ballard is one of a million rookie RBs who have come into the league and had success.

-Wayne is (IMO) the most underrated player in the NFL in the last decade.

Anyone thinking Luck doesn't have a ton of weapons is crazy.

Regardless of who wins, I think all 3 have earned the right to be in the conversation.

Doug Martin has 1647 total yards and 11 TDs. He might be worthy.

He is fifth in rushing and third overall in total yards of non QBs (behind AD and Megatron).

They are still rookies. Luck is making them better.

Fleener and Allen haven't really done anything, either. Ballard sucks. The offensive line sucks. Donnie Avery is a castoff and TY Hilton is a 3rd round rookie.

Luck is forced to throw the ball on this team. He's throwing the ball furthest down field in the nfl. Interceptions are bound to happen.

He is making plays with his legs converting 3rd downs, rushing for TDs etc.

Rg3 has the benefit of a work horse RB. He's attempting passes in the bottom half of the league and is running more than any QB in history. And now he's hurt at the most critical point in the season... And now Kirk cousins is winning games! Shannahan has a nice system in place over there in Washington.

It's all about winning games. Take away Luck and we know where the Colts are. Take away RG and Kirk cousins is winning ball games

So RG3 get penalized because his team drafted a decent backup? Brady should never win one because of Cassell?

2 wins to 9 wins

Nuff said.

That's a fair point. (Even though wins are a team stat, not a player stat)

But you are kidding yourself if you think the Colts and Redskins played comparable schedules. The Colts schedule is a joke. Tennessee twice. Jacksonville twice. Miami, Minnesota, Cleveland, N.Y. Jets, Buffalo, Detroit.

Here are his results against teams that actually can win games:

41-21 Loss to Chicago
27-30 Win over Green Bay (Not bad)
59-24 Loss to New England
29-17 Loss to Houston

A really glaring loss: 35-9 to the Jets.

They are guaranteed one more win when they play the damn chiefs.

The Skins, on the other hand, have played the Giants twice, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Dallas, Atlanta, and will play the Cowboys again.

Luck has played 4 goods teams, while the Skins have played 6. I think that should cover the discrepency in the records of the two, which is only different by one game.

Also, the Skins have yet to lose a game by 35, or 26, their biggest margin of loss being 15.

I just thought we should get all that shite straightened out if you really want to use a team stat to argue that Luck has had a better year, which based on player stats he hasn't
