Thread title suggests otherwise. The thread is quite literally about how you used to not care when Goodell came down on other teams, but now you care when he came down on your team. This post was edited on 9/6 at 10:43 am

And what's ironic is there is probably a Giants or redskins fan watching all this going "HAHA FINALLY GOT THOSE BASTARDS!!"

And then in 2 years when it's their player they will go "man this is an outrage!! There's no evidence!!"

if you have nothing else to add to the thread about Ezekiel Elliot, you're welcome to not fricking comment on the thread.

The entire premise of the thread is based off of deflate/bouty/spygate. There's 50 other Zeke threads that you can cry in now. You've been corrected.

bounty gate was ridiculous. It was the league trying to save face in the public eye by shaking a finger at the saints. If the league would have kept their mouth shut it never would have been in the media anyway.

No, if you read the entire thread before the edit, the premise was what's different between those and Elliot's deal is they had something to do with football or people that were employed by an NFL franchise. With what happened with Elliot happened before he was even drafted and how does the NFL have the authority to suspend him for something that "happened" before he was even employed by the NFL.

This is not the first time the NFL has done this, which just further shows that this poster was spot on with his assessment of you:

How he handles the Pats vs the rest of the league.

The Saints got hosed for the bountygate. Absolutely robbed.

Pats cheat, slap on the wrist. Every. fricking. Time.

I don't understand how 2 first round picks, 1.5 million dollars in fines, and a 4 game suspension of the GOAT, is a slap on the wrist for one offense that they never proved or had evidence of, and the other offense that everyone in the league did prior to 2007.

Very well, thank you.

And that's an even bigger croc of shite than what Elliot is going through.

Quick question, what is your opinion on this case?

It's obviously bullshite, but there is nothing Zeke can do. He will serve that suspension.

I like Goodell. Bust all these fricking cheaters and scum. Saints were the first to deserve it.

Yes.

As a Saints fan I have to disagree here. The Pats got fricked. There was an established precedent for ball tampering violations, that didn't come close to the nonsense inflicted upon the Pats for allegedly doing something the NFL couldn't even prove!. I won't link the countless takedowns of that farcical Wells Report or any of the other bullshite.

I don't enjoy other teams getting fricked because every time they do it continues to discredit the league and makes it less fun for me. And the only possible benefit--enough owners rallying and finally removing Goodell--is obviously never gonna happen because that worthless frickbucket is about to get another extension.

Kraft should have gone full blown Al Davis and sued the league
Sued the league for what?

The only law or rule the league and Goodell broke was anal rape of the players during the CBA

The players shouldn't have agreed to the terms then.
If the CBA allowed for Goodell to be the judge, jury, and executioner, then the PA going to a third party court would seem to render the agreement meaningless, or am I missing something?

You are not missing anything. People should be mad at the players and the PA. It is their fault all this is happening
