I doubt they put 2 SEC teams. Imagine how much shite they would get for putting an SEC team who didn’t even win their division over a team that lost in a conference title, or better yet a team that actually won their conference. I just don’t see it.

Either they will let in two teams from the same conference, or a conference champion with two losses.

Sophie’s choice.

Ohio State lost 55-24 to Iowa. Yes you can leave them out.

Different circumstances. Bama doesn’t deserve this after sitting out all week while the big boys play ball. Clemson, OU, Georgia, Ohio St.

Clemson v Oklahoma for the natty

I hate Bama but they deserve it more than OSU.

OSU over Bama. Conference champ over #3 team from SEC.

this is a big factor to me

also, the committee set the precedent last season of leaving out a conference champion for a team that didn't even play for a conference championship

the main thing working against 'Bama in my eyes is the fact a SEC team is already in... will they want to put in a 2nd SEC team instead of a B1G team

This shouldn't be a factor but the allure of a first round matchup with Clemson vs Bama would have huge ratings. Seeing Clemson play OSU again when they beat them 31-0 last year is much less desirable.

They only lost one game and didn't get blown out.

Edit: this is why I don't love the playoff. We are essentially arguing over teams that don't belong.

Although the top 3 teams this year probably deserve a shot so what do I know.

And had several quality wins. Bama's signature win is over a team with a rag armed QB and coached by Shrimp Boat O

Yeah. The same precedent that led to a 31-0 drumming in the opening round.

Should come down to OSU winning Big 10 as the difference

I would say that winning your conference championship has more weight than a loss to a team in your conference. Think about it for a second... If that Iowa loss was sooooooo bad then it would seem that OSU had no shot at winning the same conference as them, right? See, it’s starts to overlap on itself.

And then he embarrassed LSU by exposing them

I think Auburn getting trucked by an SEC East team sealed their fate.

I mean how does the committee even evaluate this team?

Their resume is garbage unless the Committee thinks LSU is the greatest team ever.
