This rules out Lebron to the lakers in the offseason.

No way in hell he is teaming up with IT again.

Per SB nation:

quote:

The real surprise here is that Cleveland was willing to part with Isaiah Thomas, who came to the Cavs over the summer in a blockbuster trade with the Celtics for Kyrie Irving. Thomas has struggled mightily since his return from a major hip injury in January, and ultimately the Cavs decided they couldn’t risk waiting for him to return to full health.

Instead the Cavs made a panicky trade for guard help, opting for a pure scorer in Clarkson, and a rotation forward in Nance Jr.

Is this enough to get Cleveland back in playoff form? Maybe not. But there’s still time before the deadline

No the Lakers won lmao . We just took a lottery proctected first round pick . Opened up two max cap spots now that Clarkson is off the books and IT is a free agent after season .

The log jam is gone too because Josh Hart emerged as a combo guard and Now Randle and Kuzma are splitting time at PF .

Lakers have the money to sign or trade for whoever they want now . And will add another top talent to their team in a deep draft class .

Danny Ainge skull fricked Cleveland .

From Kyrie to IT to Jordan Clarkson and no draft picks.

Good deal for Cleveland. Isaiah Thomas seemed to not really care very much.

Right now Clarkson is probably much better than IT.
