re: I predict Rick Pitino will resign or get fired by the end of the week.

Belle, LSU fans better hope Blakeney did not sleep with the underage daughter if he was over 18. Also, I don't think someone don't understand the big donors to the athletic program are pissed and are already calling for Rick's and now Tom Jurich's head. It is getting ugly at the Ville, don't see Rick surviving this.

At least calipari is likable.

Hell, this goes on all the time at Auburn. What's the big deal?
Posted on 10/20/15 at 10:44 am to WildcatMike
How does he compared to Eddie Sutton?
Posted on 10/20/15 at 10:52 am to mattz1122
Sutton was and still is a drunk. Sutton was too drunk to know what was going down around him half the time. What's Rick excuse, the Ville fans are now accepting this is true and questioning if Rick should be their coach.

Cowherd just slammed pitino and said he needs to be fired immediately.

There's a difference in a bunch of sororstitutes on campus sleeping with recruits and a school hiring a hooker whose daughters were under aged hookers no less and participating.
Powell herself has stated that none of the girls were underaged. Besides that, age of consent is 16 in Kentucky (as you know), so I don't think there's any legs to that.

In her book or in the interview where she's trying to save her arse from charges from LMPD's Crimes Against Children Unit that was called in to investigate last week?

In her interviews.
We'll see. She never stated that they were underaged in the book itself, just that they, at some point, had sex with players. Four years is a broad enough timeline to pass the reasonable test. They could have been 18 and 20 at that point for all we know. Even at 16 and 17, it wouldn't have been underaged for an 18 or 19 year old guys.

I hate Bama maybe as much as you, but AU definitely is not big brother.

Under child abuse laws in the state of Kentucky, a "child" is still defined as anyone who is under the age of 18.
The athletes having sex with them likely don't get charged because of age of consent. Their mother can still be charged with charges under Kentucky's child abuse/sexual abuse statues if they were under 18 and she was pimping them out.

Lol he was I'm the Kentucky program forever right? Imagine what went on then.. now yall have Cal...rofl another dirty frick. Uk is pretty much the dirtiest program I n America and has been awhile.

I don't think so. The narrative is already coming out that he didn't know.
Bilas was on ESPN saying it was "probable" he didn't know...and another guy reporting that none of the players on recruiting trips said they thought Pitino knew.
He'll survive.

Ah, I see what you're saying.
Yea, maybe. It depends how they will define her role, whether they can prove the kids were under 18, how money was exchanged, etc.

There is no way he didn't know, but you may be right he survives. Plausible deniability.

Pitino is a gone pecan. No way he survives this scandal.

Pitino told The Courier-Journal that he was "devastated" and "disappointed" by the report. Jurich offered support of Pitino on Tuesday afternoon.
"He has no plans to step down," Jurich said through U of L spokesman Kenny Klein. "He has a long-term contract. He absolutely did not know anything about these allegations."
