I switched from the Pro V1 to the Bridgestone B330 X and will never go back.
ETA: if you need less spin go with the Bridgestone e6. I played those for a while too.

Alrighty, I bought a box of Titleist Velocity, I've got a sleeve of the Q-Star's and it looks like I need to get a sleeve of the B330X to tryout.

Ok. That's really nothing for me to make a strong recommendation by, but I would still try the B330RX if I was you.

I'd assume there's a correlation between swing speed and ball speed, no?

Kind of, but ball speed tells me a little more about your ball striking ability.

Recently tried out the Callaway Tour iS balls for my last 2 rounds and am very happy. I think I'll be sticking with them for a while.

Yeah, there's an S too. Has a softer compression and is only 2 piece according to Titleist. Non S is 3 piece
