Been playing ProV1's since they came out and have really always played Titleist.

I'm realizing more and more that the spin off the ball is hurting me more than it's helping (errant shots, etc.)

I've picked up a few Srixon AD333's around the course and seem to like the feel. Thoughts on this ball or another that is just below a ProV1 in terms of gamesmanship, but not like hitting a Pinnacle?

I've always liked the feel and control/spin of the Bridgestone balls...(haven't played in the US in a while, but the pro quality Bridgestones, whatever they are called is what I am talking about)...

The new Titleist Velocity (replaced the NXT) isn't a bad ball at all. I don't know how much they run (I get mine for free).

I thought the same thing about Pro V1 with the spin hurting me, so I've been playing NXT Tour and it's been much better for me.

I also really like the Bridgestone E5.

While I agree when I'm "on" they are awesome; but when I am not, they are incredibly detrimental to my game.

Most people will not admit that

They have to play what the pros play

I was all over the place this weekend and the ball definitely didn't help.

picked up some NXT tour-s. gonna give them a run.

had the NXT tour before and liked it.

i didn't do velocity because i wasn't worried about extra distance and i was worried about side spin.

TaylorMade Penta TP3. It's a urethane ball just like their TP5 and the ProV1. With the TP3 you get the same great spin with all the long irons and driver, but you get a little less spin with the short wedges and pitches. It's a great ball and, IMO is the best value urethane ball on the market.

ETA: Way more durable than ProV1 and just a little more durable than TP5. ProV1 is by far the least durable ball.

I'm playing the NXT Tours also. I like them a lot. I used to play the e6. I liked them off the tee, but I didn't like the lack of spin around the greens. I could hit a full 52 degree and the damn thing would roll out 25 feet.

I've also played that AD333. I was really impressed with it for such a cheap ball. Pretty good distance off the tee, and really consistent spin on approach shots.

I'm going to give the Q Stars a go when I run out of the NXT's.

I'll probably just buy a sleeve of the NXT's and AD333's and figure out which ones work best between those and the Q-Star.

If I become more consistent, I'll break out the ProV's again.

I've been playing the Srixon Q-stars. I like them. They seem to not spin too much. I also hit the yellow ones, not for any particular reason, just because I like the way they look.

The B330? Great golf ball but if the OP is looking for one with less spin then I wouldn't go with this ball. It is right up there with the ProV1 IMO.
