What facts? You said that he was “on the verge of being fired.” So Bob Kraft, who had traded multiple picks to the Jets in order to hire belichick, was on the verge of firing him 18 games into his coaching career in New England? Sorry but you’re a dumb frick.
Chiefs traded picks to the Jets also for Herm Edwards who was 9-8 & actually made the playoffs in his 1st season in KC . Immediately Fired after back to back losing seasons. I'm sure back to back losing seasons ( which BB was on the verge of pre Brady) would have put BB out of work or a very, very hot seat. Not a crazy opinion.
BB was 43-57 in 7 seasons before Brady. 5-13 with Bledsoe 0-2 ( worse than Patricia in Detroit) . Eight seasons & 1 playoff appearance.

Well dumb frick what’s your definition of “on the verge?” You’re the one that said he was possibly on the verge of being fired until Bledsoe got injured. Well Bledsoe was injured in week 2, so when was Kraft going to fire him? Week 8? 11? 13? 16? 17? The 2005 season? I’ll make this simple for you, the Pats could have gone 1-15 in 2001 and Belichick still would have been back in 2002, so no he wasn’t on the verge of being fired.

Yes because that’s what my post was about.

While I agree we should’ve played MB, he was not our best DB. He might’ve been the 4th best looking back at it
One day, when all these guys have stepped away from the game I’m gonna need the truth as to why this guy played ZERO snaps defensively.

Does nobody find the amount of Bama fans that are Pats fans on this board strange?

Four years in the Marines left with me with little patience, especially when dealing with dumbasses.

I'm a fan of Tom Brady. When he retires I won't really care about the NFL.

I hate to break it to you, dude, but the vast majority of Bama fans are fans of the Atlanta Braves or - as T-Bob Hebert would no doubt refer to them as - Paris.

The LSU - Cowboys overlap is even stranger given that Louisiana has had a pro team for over 50 years. At least your generic Bama fan has no home state team to chose from.

I honestly don’t see much of this overlap. Maybe pre-Payton/Brees days it was more prevalent
There’s Louisiana Cowboy fans, mostly because North LA is basically just east Texas at a certain point. But I feel like those guys aren’t usually LSU fans. There’s a pretty big cultural and sports divide between north and south LA

We will never know because BB hit the Powerball when when Bledsoe went down otherwise he would never have benched Bledsoe ($100 million QB who they thought was easily their best option according to Weis) . Even moreso than Cam Newton( vet minimum) who they refused to bench.
So we`ll just stick to facts from now on for clowns like you : BB was a .sub 500 HC in 7 seasons before Brady. 43-57. BB had a .277 win pct 5-13 & 0-2 ( worse than Patricia in Detroit ) with a 4x Pro Bowl Franchise QB in NE. BB has made 1 playoff appearance in 8 seasons without Brady under center.

Double post of BB's 8 seasons of mediocrity w/o Brady.

Couldn't win win with Bledsoe (4 x Pro Bowl) , Testaverde ( 2x Pro Bowl) or Kosar( 1x Pro Bowl ). But BB didn't need Brady.

There is no argument. Brees is playing QB at the same level as Brady right now. Just facts
Not really. Brady has been better by advanced stats, eye test, and even PFF

It’s okay. This is the only sports site in the country outside of maybe a colts message board that won’t claim Brady is the GOAT hell most other qbs even admit it and it’s not because you have a man crush on brady. According to this board anyone who claims Brady is the goat wants to suck his cock not because they actually have a man crush on Brady but because the overton window of n this site is so heavily slanted towards the saints and Brees that anyone who doesn’t suck Brees dick is shite on and called a Brady or Rodgers lover by all the saints fans. Hell they won’t even admit mahomes is a better qb than Brees

Y’all want them to hold that tiger but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard people from south Louisiana say shite like, anything north of i49 ain’t real LoUisIaNA!”
