+1. Never heard one conversation about this game while in service. I guess only officers and their parents care.

Many relatives in the military with 2 retiring 20 plus years. They didn't care. I only peek in occasionally due to nostalgia for the triple option/ flex offense.

I watched the game today because I don’t care about World Cup soccer or college basketball.

Tradition. Amateurism. No NIL. History. Patriotism. Pageantry. Honor.

No NIL, no opt-out. It’s the only game where the players would lay down their lives for the audience.

Why does everyone act like Army cs Navy is a good game, one of the best rivalries, or really matters in the CFB landscape?

I like it because they play physical football.

No, those are good reasons.

Despite sensitive snowflakes melting in many responses, There have been some good responses in this thread that have given me insight on why people like this game a lot.

I wanted to provoke serious thinking and discussion to understand it better
Too bad snowflakes can’t handle any topics that challenge their worldview

But thank your for your insightful reaposne
